Private Educational Loan Requirements Under the Truth-in-Lending Act 12CFR Part 226 (Regulations Z)

The Department of Education requires the student to submit a Applicant Self Certification form (OMB No. 1845-0101) (193k PDF*) to the lender (OWU) when applying for Ohio Wesleyan’s University Loan or to any bank that offers Private Educational Loans. The information necessary to complete the form can be obtained from the Office of Financial Aid. Print the PDF form, complete your personal information, and take to the Office of Financial Aid located in Slocum Hall, 2nd floor for assistance with Section 2: Cost of Attendance and Estimated Financial Assistance.
